The group was incorporated in the city of Villarrica on Tuesday, 13th March 2007, and registered by Municipal Decree Nº377 (86-616). Its tax ID (Nº 65.770.420-2) has been obtained and its financial movement has begun. As a non-profit entity, a part of the income earned by its Reiki Masters and practitioners will be dedicated to support the Reiki Hospital project in Kathmandu, Nepal.

OBJECTIVES:
OFFICIAL REPRESENTATION: The main purpose of Nepal Reiki Chile Social Benefit Group is to serve as an official representation and source of support to Ven. Lama Ngawang Rigdzin, with an Association of Reiki Masters authorized by him to practise and teach Reiki, and perform Initiations under his spiritual direction.

SOCIAL BENEFIT THROUGH REIKI: Another principal objective is to benefit vulnerable sectors of the local community, by continuing the social work which Lama Ngawang began in his Reiki programs in the Villarrica health clinics and prison in 2006. The group hopes to extend this work to senior citizens, women suffering violence and other groups at risk.

A WORKING MODEL: A longer-term goal is to develop a working model of voluntary community Reiki practice for social benefit that can be repeated in other parts of the country.
